I’ve been trying out different things like canvas, paper and board and testing different layers of gesso, sanding, glazing and spraying. This latest experiment is on a 6″ x 6″ unprimed wood panel on 1 1/2″ support. I tried out my new Sharpie water based paint pens on this one without any gesso. The surface was pretty rough and there is a little bleed but overall it looks really cool. Then I shot it with some Krylon Crystal Clear to protect it and bring out the contrast with a little shine.
