A few years back I met Michael Foley at an art gallery in Pacifica, CA. I think it was the Oceana Art Gallery during the show linked here. Art from Mark Bray showing at Oceana Art Gallery. We became fast friends with our shared experiences as artists and musicians. I worked with him on his website and getting some music projects together. Michael got me back into the finer points of guitar playing.

Life On Earth Video

One of the projects we completed was creating a video for the song Hard At Work from his band Life On Earth. They performed in San Francisco in the 70’s. It has some great classic footage of San Francisco and some live footage of the band playing.

Painter

Michael is also a prolific painter and taught at the San Francisco Art Institute. His paintings are in private collections around the country and have been in museums and galleries in New York, Los Angeles, and throughout the United States.
