I started to go outside today and it seemed a bit chilly, or airy as some might say. I had to grab my hoodie! I’ve worn it around the house for a couple hours a few times in the last week but this is the first morning I definitely had to wear it. It is officially hoodie weather! Now that I type it, doesn’t it seem like an odd word?
This is really going to changing biking for me. I’ve been getting into riding around the neighborhood this summer but yesterday when I went out my arms started getting cold. I don’t remember what it is like to bike in the cold. It has probably been over a quarter century since I have ridden a bike in weather lower than the upper 50’s! I think that is where I draw the line with skating too.
Maybe this is when wearing a mask will serve a double purpose. Keep safe and warm! I forgot we used to wear ski masks all the time as a kid in Indiana to keep toasty in those freezing winters. We had to rap up like a mummy to go out in that weather. Maybe now I need to get a some hoodies with a built in mask.
I just got back from a short ride. It was 63 degrees and it was COLD! Maybe the indoor recumbent bike will get more use now?
