Nice Days Leading To First Snow of 2020

The Snow is falling for the first time this year but luckily there were some nice days leading up to the first snow of 2020. The 4 day Thanksgiving holiday was a nice break. We got to spend some quality time outside with Shady Cat getting the yard ready for winter.

Along with yard work I’ve been working on lots of other projects so here is a gallery of some of the things that I have been doing. In between I don’t forget to take breaks for pizza and I have to say it is looking pretty good.

The plan for this week is to get the bass and leads done so I finish a new. For bass it will be the Fender Jazz Bass and for the leads the Stratocaster. Some nice cover art and a name wouldn’t be a bad idea either so I’ll get on that too!

This week it’s time to get back some art from few weeks ago so I can finish that up. They are 6 paintings that are 5×7 watercolor and ink on paper. They are abstracts incorporating a couple techniques. Color washes and splattered backgrounds with bold black calligraphic lines and swirls. My next painting series in forming in my head now so it will be food to finish this project.

There is a lot going on this Fall (IN MY HEAD)!
